The following was taken from the Rexroad Blog ,"Things were going great for me until I read the final line from the Abraham's family attorney. Please read the whole story but the final line set me off --"I'm hopeful that city of Woodland will take full responsibility for the officers' conduct and resolve this case without causing the Abrahams family to go through the pain of protracted litigation," he said.I could not disagree more.Life is messy. From my point of view it is unlikely that the Abraham family lost anything that can truly be replaced. Will $1 million of taxpayer money bring back their son? "
Is Matt Rexroad truly this vain? This ignorant? Would this man have died if he were not shocked? Probably not at this point. The family is dealing with the death of a loved one, at the expense of an error. They deserve compensation.
Just like the compensation Rexroad takes from developers to pass projects on to the community. Like the prison on agricultural land in Williams.
How will these families be compensated for the cost of theft, burglery, increase in services from this project? Are they deserving? If you put the project there, then pay the residents for the costs they will incur.
